Ask A Designer is for

Homeowners, Renters, Airbnb owners, Office owners, and Small business owners who want to make better interior decisions before spending more money.

It is especially useful if you already have a mostly finished space, but one decision is holding you back.

How It works

01 — Purchase Ask A Designer.

Complete your purchase through the website.

Once payment is confirmed, you will receive access to your intake form and booking link for your 60-minute virtual design consultation.

02 — Submit your question.

Before your session, you will send us:

One clear design question

Photos of the space or item

Measurements, where relevant

Links or screenshots of options you are considering

A short explanation of what you are trying to decide

The clearer your question, the more focused and useful your session will be.

03 — Book your virtual consultation.

Choose a time for your 60-minute online session.

This is where we review your space with you in real time, ask clarifying questions where needed, and guide you through the decision you are trying to make.

04 — NIZARRA reviews your space.

We look at your question through the lens of proportion, colour, scale, flow, material tone, and visual balance.

We are not trying to redesign the whole room.

We are helping you make one better design decision with clarity and confidence.

05 — Receive live design direction.

During your virtual consultation, you receive focused design guidance, clear recommendations, and practical next steps.

You will know what to do, what to avoid, and why the recommendation makes sense for your space.

06 — Get your written recap.

After the session, you will receive a short written recap summarising the key recommendation, next steps, and any important notes from your consultation.

This is not a full design report, but a clear reference to help you take action.

Before you submit

Please make sure your question is specific.

Instead of asking:

“Can you help me with my living room?”

Ask:

“Which rug size should I choose for this living room?”
or
“Which wall colour works better with this floor and sofa?”
or
“What should I change in this corner to make it feel more resolved?”

A specific question allows us to give you a stronger, more useful answer.

What this is not

Ask A Designer is not a full room redesign.

It does not include:

A full design concept

A complete layout plan

Sourcing lists for an entire room

Technical drawings

Contractor instructions

A full Space Audit

Project management

Ask A Designer: On-site Consultaion

Some design decisions are best made within the room itself. Seeing the space in person allows us to assess its true light, colour, scale, proportions and existing finishes—and provide guidance that responds directly to how the room looks, feels and functions.
