A sculptural study in form, symbolism, and permanence.
DWEN Form 06 is conceived not as a vessel, but as a cultural artefact translated into contemporary space. Its pyramidal geometry draws from architectural massing - grounded, stable, and intentional. The surface carries a sequence of hand-applied symbols rooted in the philosophical language of Adinkra.
Each mark is placed with deliberation.
Each imperfection is retained with purpose.
The interplay between matte black ceramic and raised ivory-toned relief creates a quiet but commanding contrast - one that reveals itself gradually through light, shadow, and proximity. As the object shifts within a space, so too does its reading: at once graphic, sculptural, and symbolic.
This piece does not seek attention.
It holds it.
