The Kopano Vessel is part of the DWEN Form Series - a collection of sculptural objects developed as collectible design pieces.
Produced in limited quantities, each form explores balance, symbol, and material presence within contemporary African space.
Defined by its grounded base and structured upper form, the vessel carries a sense of architectural balance. The dual side handles extend outward like gestures of symmetry, while the carved facial abstraction introduces a human presence - restrained, composed, and intentional.
At its centre, a symbolic motif is embedded within a circular field, a moment of contrast that anchors the piece in cultural reference without overwhelming its form. The matte black surface, subtly textured, absorbs light rather than reflects it. This allows shadow, depth, and silhouette to define its presence.
This is not a decorative object.
It is a spatial anchor.
